Our Garden

I became interested in hardy tropical plants after a stressful time in my life, and due to some building work in 2013 to extend and adapt the house for wheelchair access, which left us with a blank canvas to the front.

My wife and I have enjoyed many lovely holiday's abroad, but due to my partners retirement on health grounds, we decided that our travelling days are done, and after purchasing a few out of season exotics, I decided that I wanted to create something that reminded us of our holidays abroad.

Hardy Tropicals is a web site which has been a great source of information, ideas and encouragement.
